¹ This promotion is valid from August 3, 2026 through September 30, 2026 for customers who open a qualifying consumer checking account online or at a participating Midland States Bank branch. Promo code BANKGIFT must be provided at account opening. Accounts opened between August 3 and August 21, 2026, and between August 29 and September 30, 2026, will receive a $25 eGift card. Accounts opened during the promotional week of August 22 through August 28, 2026, will receive a $100 eGift card. Limit one eGift card per person during the promotion period, regardless of the number of accounts opened. Joint accounts are eligible for one eGift card total, not one per account holder. Bank rules and regulations apply. The eGift card will be provided electronically within two business days after account opening. Gift may be reported on a Form 1099-INT or 1099-MISC.
The minimum balance required to open the account and obtain the bonus is $50. Other fees such as non-sufficient funds, overdraft, sustained overdraft fees, etc. may apply. See fee schedule for complete details.
2 Referrers get $50 for each successful referral leading to a new checking account opening during the Promotion Period, with a maximum earning of $500 per calendar year through Midland’s referral programs. To qualify, the Friend must open a new personal checking account during the promotion, and within 30 days of receiving the referral link. They cannot be a current primary checking account holder at Midland. Minimum opening deposit for a Checking account is $50. The account must remain open and active for 90 days to qualify. The $50 bonus is deposited into both the Friend’s and Referrer’s accounts within 30 business days of meeting requirements.
