What does this mean for current Centrue customers?

September 1 - September 4: We have started our conversion from Centrue to Midland. The conversion will continue through the weekend. Beginning on Tuesday, September 5, our banking centers will open as Midland and the account conversion will be complete.

Important! Beginning at 5pm on Friday, September 1, access to Centrue's online banking systems (business and consumer) will be turned off. You can begin accessing your accounts through Midland's Online Banking and Pro Online Suite beginning on Tuesday, September 5.

General

When will Centrue Bank be converting accounts?

Midland States Bank will be converting Centrue Bank accounts over the September 1 weekend. After the close of business of Friday, September 1, your accounts held at Centrue Bank will be integrated into Midland States Bank.



When will my Centrue Bank location officially change over to Midland States Bank?

Branches will be closed on Saturday, September 2. Former Centrue Bank branches will open as Midland States Bank on Tuesday, September 5.



Will I be able to access my bank account during conversion weekend?

During the conversion weekend, you will be able to access your bank accounts though ATMs, writing checks and using your debit card. Limited balance and transaction details will be available through ATMs during the conversion. Your transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, will continue to be processed like normal, but will not be reflected in your account balance through the ATM, Online Banking or Bank by Phone until the conversion is complete.

First Month Service Charges

Will there be any changes to my service charges after the conversion?

Personal and business deposit accounts monthly account service charges will be waived for the first month following conversion. Beginning October 1, 2017, normal charges will apply. This will allow you to become familiar with your new accounts and make account changes before account service charges are incurred.

Balances During Conversion Weekend

Will my balances be up-to-date during conversion weekend if I perform a balance inquiry?

September 2 - September 5 - If you perform a balance inquiry at an ATM, the balance will reflect the end-of-day balance on September 1. Balances will not reflect the items posting to your account throughout the conversion weekend. For example, your transactions, including debit cards, deposits and withdrawals, will continue to be processed like normal, but will not be added to or withdrawn from your end-of-day balance until the conversion is complete. Your account balances should reflect weekend transactions by Wednesday, September 6.

Will my account number be changed?

Unless you have received a letter about an account number change, your account number will remain the same on deposit and loan accounts.

Checks and Routing Numbers

Will I need to buy new checks?

For your convenience, you will receive a supply of checks as early as August 30 from Midland. You can order new checks from our website, www.midlandsb.com. If you place your next order through another company, you will need to provide that company with the Midland States Bank routing transit number (081204540) and your account number.

Beginning September 5, you may begin using your Midland checks.



Will my Centrue Bank checks become unusable after conversion weekend?

Originally, September 4 was stated as the last day to use your Centrue checks, but it is important to provide adequate time for you to replace your Centrue Checks with Midland checks, as well as notify merchants of the change. Therefore, the last day to use Centrue checks has been extended. The actual end date has not been determined and will be announced through a separate notification, if needed. Beginning September 5, you may begin using your Midland checks.



Should I notify anyone of this change?

If you currently have merchants, banks, or other payees debit or credit your account for recurring, or one-time payments or direct deposits, you will need to contact them and provide your new Midland Routing Number 081204540. We are happy to assist you with your next Deluxe check order. If you need assistance changing your social security or government direct deposit, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with as much assistance as we are allowed.



How do I identify recurring debits and credits on my account statement that might use Centrue's information?

Look on your bank statement and identify recurring debits and credits for things like your electric bill, phone bill, direct deposit, or similar payments initiated by a company you authorized to debit or credit your account. If you haven't contacted them to change the routing number, you will want to contact them and provide them the new Midland Routing Number 081204540. You will also want to look at your bank statement for one-time debits using a money movement company like PayPal, or companies with automatic payments for services such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, Xbox or similar companies.



Why was my new Midland States Bank check declined?

Midland has contacted the primary agencies that validate checks concerning this conversion and the change of bank information. We wanted you to be aware that some merchants accepting checks drawn off of converted/acquired bank accounts might experience a mismatched routing and/or account number. If this occurs, your check payment might be declined and you will most likely receive instructions to correct the issue at the register. Agencies provide you with customer service numbers so that this can resolved.

We recommend that you bring alternative payment methods, such as your Midland Debit Card or credit card. By using a card as a payment, you will not be subjected to the risk of check authentication processes.

New Debit Cards

Will I need to get a new debit card?

August 30 - If you currently have a Centrue Bank Debit Card, your card will be replaced with a new Midland Debit MasterCard®. This card will arrive in the mail no later than August 30. You can activate your new Midland card beginning on September 5.



When will my Centrue Bank debit card stop working?

September 4 - You may continue using your current Centrue Bank debit card through midnight on Monday, September 4.

September 5 - You may activate your new Midland debit card beginning on Tuesday, September 5. Details explaining how to activate and change your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be included with your new card.



I have companies using my debit card as a payment source. What should I do?

September 5 - If you currently authorize companies to use your Centrue Bank debit card as a payment source, you will need to provide them your new debit card number prior to payments due on or after September 5.

Bank by Phone

Will I be able to bank from my phone during conversion weekend?

September 1 - September 5 - Bank by Phone will not be available during conversion weekend.

September 5 - You can begin accessing Midland's Bank by Phone system. We have developed a special process which provides expedited first time access. If you have not used Bank by Phone within 30 days after the conversion, please refer to the instructions provided within the Welcome Guide for our standard enrollment and access instructions.

Online Banking and Bill Pay

Where will my online banking and bill pay be now?

After this conversion, you will have access to your new Midland Online Banking and Bill Pay service at www.midlandsb.com.

September 1 at 5 pm - Centrue Bank's Online Banking access will be turned off.

September 5 - You can begin accessing your accounts through www.midlandsb.com by logging into online banking through the "Sign In" link located in the upper right corner beginning on Tuesday, September 5.

What do I need to do with my online banking account to prepare for the conversion?

Prior to August 31 - We recommend you download or record your account history, statements, recurring transfer schedules and bill payment information prior to the conversion. 90 days of transaction history will convert.

Using Online Banking for the First Time

Will I have to create a new user ID (user name) and password for my online banking account?

You will be able to continue to use your current user Id (user name) and password. Access to Online Banking is available by using any device. You will have multiple prompts that will be required the first time you sign in to Online Banking, including acceptance of the new terms and conditions of Midland's online banking.



I currently have granted shared access with other individuals. Will this remain?

For security purposes, Midland does not provide the ability to give shared access to non-Midland account owners. This feature will not be available after conversion.



I currently use online banking at Midland and at Centrue. What sign on credentials should I use?

You will use your Midland login credentials. Once your accounts convert to Midland, your converted Centrue accounts will be accessbile through your Midland login session.



Will I still be able to access previous online statements past conversion weekend?

September 5 - Your previous 12 months of Centrue Bank online statements will be available. These statements will not include the Centrue formatting. Notices and Tax Documents will not convert. If you need copies of your Statements, Notices, or Tax Documents as presented by Centrue, you can request these at no charge for the first two months after conversion. We recommend you print or download your statement, notice and tax document history prior to conversion.



When can I view transactions that were made over the conversion weekend?

Transactions performed over the conversion weekend will be available for viewing through Online Banking. Check images processed after September 1 will be available online.



What will happen to my scheduled recurring transfers and alerts?

Scheduled recurring transfers between your Centrue Bank accounts will continue as scheduled after conversion.

Online Bill Pay Schedule

Should I be downloading or recording my payees and payment history?

Prior to August 28 - We recommend you download or record your payees and payment history prior to the conversion. If you have accounts at both Midland and Centrue and use Online Bill Pay at both banks, special conditions apply. Please let us know prior to conversion which Bill Pay information you would like to retain; Your bill pay information with Centrue Bank or Midland States Bank. Contact us at: 1-855-696-4352. Six (6) months of bill pay history will convert.



Will I be able to continue to schedule or pay bills online at Centrue Bank?

August 28 at 3 pm - Your ability to schedule or pay bills online at Centrue Bank will be turned off in order to bring your bill pay and payee information over to Midland.



When can I begin accessing my Online Bill Pay?

September 5 - You can begin accessing your Online Bill Pay account through www.midlandsb.com. We recommend you check your payees (including all payee details) and your scheduled payments to make sure your information converted correctly.



Will my payment date method remain the same?

September 5 - Your payment date method remains the same. A "deliver by" method pays based on when your payment is due. Midland will calculate when the payment should be sent based on whether it is to go by check or electronic methods, according to the "deliver by" date.



When can I sign up for e-bills?

After September 5 - Set up to receive bills to be presented for payment within Online Banking. This is called e-bills. You will be notified by email when your bill arrives.



What will happen to my pre-scheduled bill payments?

Your pre-scheduled online bill payments will continue even though access will not be available during conversion weekend.



Will I need to set up new payment alerts and memo fields for bill pay payees?

That is correct. Payment reminders (alerts) will not convert and Memo's within payees will not convert. You can set these up anytime on or after September 5.



I currently have more than one recurring payment routine to a payee, will this continue after conversion?

If you have two recurring payments scheduled to send to the same payees, one of those payments will not convert unless you change them prior to conversion. For example, you could change a payment scheduled for the same amount for the 1st and the 15th to send semi-monthly. This would then remove the "duplicate payment routine" from your current system and allow payments to continue on time. A second way to fix this issue is to cancel one of the payment routines, create another "payee" of the same entity with a slightly different name, and create a payment routine for this new payee.

When can I begin accessing my account through your Mobile App and Text Banking services?

September 5 - For our Online Banking users, you can begin accessing your accounts through our Mobile App and Text Banking services beginning on Tuesday, September 5.

External Transfers - Popmoney®

Do I need to do anything with my external transfers before the conversion?

Prior to August 29 - We recommend you download or record your external transfer activity and settings. Your Centrue Bank settings, including account set-up will not convert. Once the conversion is complete, you will be able to reestablish them using Midland's Online Banking service and clicking on the "Move Money" tab.



Will I still be able to schedule external transfers of Popmoney transfers during the conversion?

August 29 at 5 pm - Your ability to schedule External Transfers or Popmoney transfers will be turned off. Transfers scheduled to deliver after August 30 will not be processed due to the conversion. An alternate way to send money is via Wire Transfer. Please contact Centrue Bank's Customer Service team for more information about wire transfers.

August 30 - This is the last day External Transfers and Popmoney transfers will be delivered via Centrue Bank's Online Banking system. Transfers scheduled for delivery past August 30 will not be processed.



When will I have access to set-up contacts, accounts and payments?

September 5 - Access to set-up contacts, accounts and payments is available on September 5.

Online Statements and Notices

When can I register to receive Online Statements?

September 5 - You can register to receive Online Statements when you sign in to Online Banking. Once you register for Online Statements, online notices will also present within the same area. you can "turn on" or "turn off" electronic statements and notices by account.



Will I still be able to access previous online statements past conversion weekend?

September 5 - Your previous 12 months of Centrue Bank online statements will be available. These statements will not include the Centrue formatting. Notices and Tax Documents will not convert. If you need copies of your Statements, Notices, or Tax Documents as presented by Centrue, you can request these at no charge for the first two months after conversion. We recommend you print or download your statement, notice and tax document hisotry prior to conversion. Statements will load from the oldest to the newest and may take a while. We anticipate all statements to be fully loaded by September 8. If you need a copy of your prior Centrue Statements, we can assist you at 1-855-696-4352 beginning September 5.



Why can't I see all of my check images?

Check images will become available to view within online banking in phases. You will see images of checks dated between 1/1/2015 and 6/5/2017 this week. We are currently working on a plan to upload more recent checks into online banking. We anticipate viewing capabilities of check images dated between 6/6/2017 and 9/4/2017 to be available by the end of September. Checks images dated on or after 9/5/2017 will be available within your online daily account activity as they clear your account.

Will my FinanceWorks convert?

September 5 - FinanceWorks™ information will convert. You will need to refresh your external accounts through FinanceWorks™ beginning September 5 to see balances and account transaction history. There is a possibility that some credit card accounts will not convert into FinanceWorks™ for viewing.

Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) Changes

Will there be any early withdrawal penalties?

Early Withdrawal Penalties - The terms of your CD or IRA as established with Centrue Bank will not change until the first maturity after the conversion to Midland. However, new early withdrawal penalties apply at the time of conversion.

Loans

Will the terms and conditions of my personal loans, home equity loans, and mortgages change?

The terms and conditions of your loans will not change. Automatic payments will continue.



Will my Home Equity Lines of Credit terms and conditions change?

You will receive additional information in a separate mailing as the terms and condition of your loan will change. A Home Equity Discover® Card is available for more convenient access to your line of credit.



Will my Overdraft Reserve Line of Credit terms and conditions change?

If you currently have an overdraft line of credit, the terms and conditions of your line of credit will convert to Midland's Reserve Line of Credit. The new terms and conditions have already been mailed to customers with an overdraft line.



Will the terms and conditions change for my Business Loans?

The terms and conditions of your loans will not change.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

What does my Health Savings Account offer me?

September 5 - Midland's Health Savings Account provides account owners the option to use checks and HSA debit cards to pay for qualified medical transactions. You may order Midland HSA debit cards beginning September 5.

When will my services fees post to my account?

September 5 - Service Fees associated with Savings Account Transfers for overdraft purposes, will post to your account receiving the transferred funds beginning September 5.

Statements

When will I receive my final Centrue Bank statement?

After September 1 - You will receive a final Centrue Bank statement reflecting your account activity and balance through September 1.



When will I receive my personal, money market, and business account statements?

You will receive your Midland statement within 30 days after this conversion. Your statement will then cycle on the same day each moth thereafter.



When will I receive my home equity line of credit statement?

Your statement date will change, and your payment due date may change. Please check your first Midland Home Equity statement carefully to understand your next due date.



Can I combine multiple account information into one statement?

After September 5 - If you would like to combine multiple account information into one statement, please contact our Customer Care Center after September 5. If you have already combined multiple accounts onto one statement, you will continue to receive combined statements.

Safe Deposit Box

Will the terms and condition on my safe deposit box change?

The terms and conditions of your safe deposit box will not change with the exception of the annual fee. The new annual fee will be effective your next renewal date after September 1.

Business Online Banking and Bill Pay

Where can I access my new Midland Business Online Bank and Bill Pay service at after the conversion?

After this conversion, you will have access to your new Midland Business Online Banking and Bill Pay service at www.midlandsb.com. After conversion, if you would like a free demonstration, please contact your local bank representative to schedule the best time to meet.



What is the last day I can originate an ACH?

The last day to originate a ACH is August 31. The last effective date can be no later than September 1.



Where do I access my Business Online banking account after conversion?

To navigate through the website, go to midlandsb.com / hover over Sign In / click on Business / click on Business Online Banking. Or, you can go directly to: midlandstatesbank.btbanking.com/onlineserv/CM/. You will see a Welcome to Pro Online Suite! area where you can enter you login creditionals.

Make sure characters are in ALL CAPS. You will be prompted to change this password according to Midland's password criteria.



What Business Online Banking Information will not convert?

While we have made every effort to convert everything, some information will not convert. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Passwords
  • Statement alerts
  • Online registers for positive pay
  • ACH templates and activity; Wire templates and activity


What should I do when I login to Pro Online Suite?

Primary Administrators should login to Midland's Pro Online Suite on Septmeber 5. They will need to 1) Review the company name, and 2) Review Midland's ACH processing schedule, and 3) Review and/or set-up Online and RDC profiles, and 4) Review bill pay payees and payments, 5) Enter wire template details, 6) Upload outstanding checks into Positive Pay, and 7) Set-up scheduled book transfers and balance alerts.



Who do I call if I have a question about Pro Online Suite or other Treasury Management Services?

You should call your Treasury Management Sales Representative for questions about the service. Support related questions should be directed to our Treasury Support team at (855)776-6435.



Will I have access to my old Centrue Business Online Banking System after conversion?

Certain information will be available between 60 - 90 days after the conversion. You will be able to research, view, and download information from that system. Balance and activity-related functionality will not be available. This should help you and your team set-up the new Pro Online Suite.

Remote Deposit Capture for Businesses

Can I continue my deposits during the conversion?

Deposit Window - On Friday, September 1, your company can make deposits until 5 pm for the current business day. After the conversion, the cut-off time will occur at 6pm for the posting to occur on the same business day.

Do I need to do anything with wire transfers?

September 5 - You will need to communicate new Midland wire transfer instructions to parties sending wire transfers to your account.
