Dan Thompson
SVP - Credit
Thompson is senior vice president and credit manager Midland Equipment Finance. In this role, he is responsible for the credit risk management functions of the company.
Thompson has over 15 years of credit analysis and management in the equipment finance industry. He most recently served as senior vice president and credit manager for Scottrade Bank Equipment Finance, a division of Scottrade Bank. Prior to joining Scottrade Bank Equipment Finance in 2013, he served in senior credit analyst roles at TCF Equipment Finance and Diversified Financial Services. He also served as the national credit manager for Popular Equipment Finance, a division of Banco Popular North America (Popular Bank), which was acquired by TCF Equipment Finance.
He received his bachelor’s degree and M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Saint Louis University.
