Linda Mahon has nearly three decades of experience in the fiduciary and investment arenas, working closely with clients and trusted advisors to help individuals and family achieve their wealth management goals and objectives. Prior to becoming a member of Midland Trust Company, Linda was Vice President and Trust Officer in Sterling National Bank’s Trust & Wealth Management Department (the predecessor of interest to Midland Trust Company). Also, Linda served as Vice President and Relationship Manager for the then #1 producing Relationship Management Team at U.S. Trust Company, N.A. Previous to joining U.S. Trust, Linda was with Scudder Private Wealth Management/ Deutsche Bank/Legg Mason – specializing in Investments & Trusts. While employed at these institutions, Linda has managed Trusts, Investment Management Accounts, Estates, Charitable Trusts, Custody accounts and IRAs, and most recently has a focus on Special Needs Trusts, Guardianships and Elder law matters. Linda is a graduate of The College of William & Mary, where she earned a B.S. in Economics and Biology; with additional studies at Columbia University (she was awarded a National Science Foundation Scholarship). Linda holds the CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) designation; is a Cannon Financial Personal Trust School Graduate (Levels I, II and III) and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County.
Linda also is involved in several charities – she is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester; is a member of the Scholars Committee of the John Jay Homestead, Katonah, NY and is a Board Member and Past President of the Mount Kisco Child Care Center. Linda is a former Board Member of Bellevue Association, NYC; and was active in New York University KIDS.
